A hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day coordination of specialist family violence practitioners delivering crisis and case management services to victim survivors. The Team Leader provides clinical oversight, supervision, and support to ensure safe, responsive, and best-practice service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead, support, and supervise a team of Specialist Family Violence Practitioners
Provide case consultation, risk oversight, and decision-making support
Monitor caseloads and demand to ensure timely and effective responses
Ensure practice aligns with MARAM, trauma-informed care, and organisational frameworks
Support workforce capability through coaching, development, and reflective practice
Participate in after-hours crisis/on-call rosters as required
Requirements:
Degree qualification in Social Work or equivalent (meeting FV mandatory minimums)
Experience working within specialist family violence or related crisis services
Demonstrated leadership or senior practitioner experience
Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety planning, and FV frameworks
