A hybrid role for an experienced Speech Pathologist (4+ years) to provide clinical supervision to graduate and early-career clinicians while maintaining a caseload. Work with children (and some adults) with disability across a variety of presentations in a supportive multidisciplinary team. Flexible 4- or 5-day work week, regular PD, education allowance, career progression pathways, and a positive, team-focused culture.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to graduate and early-career Speech Pathologists
- Deliver speech pathology services to children (and some adults) with disability across a variety of presentations: speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC, stuttering, literacy, feeding and mealtime management
- Conduct and interpret speech and language assessments and design evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (OTs, Physios, Behaviour Support Practitioners) to ensure holistic client care
- Support parents and carers through coaching and education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements
- Contribute to professional development activities such as team huddles, in-services, and case discussions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
Current registration as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist
Strong experience working with children with disability (experience with adults a bonus)
Demonstrated knowledge of assessments and interventions for speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC, stuttering, literacy, and feeding/mealtime management
Experience providing clinical supervision to students, graduates, or early-career clinicians
