We are seeking an experienced Community Speech Pathologist to join a flexible, community-based role working exclusively with adult clients outside of the NDIS. This position offers a diverse caseload spanning rehab hospital work, aged care home visits, and private clients, providing strong clinical variety in a rewarding care model. The role offers flexibility in how you structure your week, making it an excellent option for a clinician looking for autonomy in their practice. To be considered, you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with adult clients and hold current AHPRA registration and SPA membership.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat adult clients across rehab hospital, aged care (home visits), and private settings

  • Manage a varied community-based caseload covering communication and swallowing disorders

  • Conduct home visits for aged care clients in the community

  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings

  • Deliver services outside the NDIS framework, adapting to a fee-for-service or similar model

  • Provide goal-directed therapy tailored to adult rehabilitation and aged care needs

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with adult clients in a Speech Pathology role

  • Experience across rehab, aged care, or community settings highly regarded

  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders

  • Ability to manage an independent, community-based caseload

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Speech Pathologist

  • Certified Practising Member (CP) of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for home visits

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
