About Us:
Our Client Is committed to creating a nurturing environment where every young person's voice is heard, valued, and celebrated. Join us in our mission to support the mental health, wellbeing, and overall development of young people.
A growing paediatric psychology clinic nestled in the heart of Melbourne's eastern suburbs. We're on the lookout for enthusiastic Registered Psychologists who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of amazing kids, teens, and families. As we expand to meet the needs of our growing waitlist, we invite you to become an integral part of our psychologist-owned clinic, where our core belief is that a well-supported team is essential for exceptional client care.
We embody not-for-profit values within a private practice setting. Beyond our direct client work, we actively collaborate with local community organizations to ensure accessible support for young people and families at risk, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity.
Working alongside our dedicated team of psychologists, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our skilled Therapy Assistants (TAs), who provide invaluable support in embedding therapeutic strategies into our clients' natural environments. With our TAs by your side, you can:
Harness Your Specialised Skills: Dive deep into your areas of expertise and explore your interests. Our TAs are available to assist with any intensive practice and repetition required with clients, so you can focus on the parts of the job that bring you the most satisfaction.
Prioritise Wellbeing: Experience reduced stress and burnout as part of our supportive team environment. Share the load with colleagues when clients require intensive support, promoting a healthier work-life balance for everyone.
Enhance Your Case Formulation: Gain valuable insights into case formulation with the help of our TAs. Benefit from their observations in natural settings (both informal and formal, e.g. Functional Behavior Analysis). You can work in partnership to trial strategies to optimise outcomes for our clients using a response to intervention (RTI) approach.
We offer flexible work arrangements, including negotiable workdays and hours, catering to both part-time and full-time availability.
