A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join a private maternity service renowned for its excellent resources and supportive environment. This part-time (0.8 FTE) role provides leadership across the Birth Suite and Postnatal unit, collaborating closely with the Maternity Services Manager and broader clinical leadership team to ensure exceptional patient care. Flexible working arrangements are available.
Responsibilites:
Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support for the Birth Suite and Postnatal teams
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
Uphold and enforce hospital policies, procedures, and standards
Take charge of the ward in the Maternity Services Manager’s absence
Encourage a positive, collaborative work
Requirements:
Has at least 2 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Demonstrates strong clinical and managerial capabilities
Holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Possesses a current Working with Children Check
Is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and outcomes
Brings flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive team-oriented approach
