We are looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurses to join our expanding perioperative team. As part of the largest private perioperative department in the Hunter region, you will support patients and Anaesthetists during perioperative procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Responsibilities:
Assist Anaesthetists during perioperative procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anaesthetic process
Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment, medications and monitoring devices
Provide high-quality clinical care and support to patients before, during and after anaesthesia
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes during procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards and best practice guidelines
Contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience working as an Anaesthetic Nurse
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to delivering a high standard of patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced perioperative environment
